More than just a memory

Memory is an interesting thing. More than the ability to retain and recall information, it’s also about the ability to remember, and relive, experiences in an imaginary way.

For travellers who want to live their own rock ‘n’ roll fantasy, there’s no better place than the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana which combines the eclectic atmosphere of the legendary Hard Rock with the lavish, all-inclusive experience synonymous with the Caribbean in general and the Dominican Republic in particular.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana features an extensive collection of Hard Rock’s authentic music memorabilia, highlighting both international and local artists as well as incorporating diverse music genres throughout, including Madonna’s limousine, Elton John’s piano and the Beach Boys’ piano.

The Hard Rock’s love of iconic music memorabilia all started with one red guitar, a Fender, donated by Eric Clapton in 1979 when the Hard Rock Café in London started covering its walls with rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia. Now, over 30 years later, it’s the largest and most valuable music memorabilia collection on the planet with 70,000, and counting, rock ’n’ roll items. Much of the memorabilia carried at the Hard Rock is donated, however the company also purchases items at auctions around the world, including autographed guitars, outfits from world tours and rare photographs.

The Hard Rock Café was originally founded in England in 1971 by Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett, two Americans. Peter Morton is the son of the founder of Morton’s and his own son, Harry Morton, founded Pink Taco, the Californian Mexican restaurant which first opened in the Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Isaac Tigrett also founded the House of Blues, with partner Dan Aykroyd, in 1992.

Authentic, Caribbean cuisine from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Cuba, lovingly served up with international flair—buffet-style—for breakfast and lunch and à la carte, for dinner.

Zen
This teppanyaki-style eatery specializes in Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The food is superlative, but the main attraction is the show the chefs perform while creating memorable meals right
before your eyes. Cirque
du Sushi anyone?

Los Gallos
The only punches this pugilistic poultry throws are of the culinary kind. Located at the end of the main boulevard, Los Gallos boasts a magnificent decorative ambiance as well as freshly prepared Mexican cuisine.
